How to accept a friend request on Facebook lite.
This is how to accept a friend request on facebook Lite:
1.Login to Facebook lite at lite.facebook.com
2.On your home page you will see a message that says"You have 1 friend request." just under the post photo Button.
3.Click on the blue writing titled"friend request."A new page will appear showing you who has requested to be your friend.
4.On the right hand side you will see two buttons namely "Confirm Friend" or "ignore".If you don't want to be friends with this person click Ignore,if you want to become friends on facebook then click"Confirm Friend"
You have successfully accepted a friend request.
How to find and add person on facebook lite.
To find and invite friends on facebook lite do the following:
1.Login to Facebook lite at lite.facebook.com
2.once logged in,enter ether the persons name you are looking for or their email address into the search box on the top right hand side of the facebook lite site then click search.
3.If you entered the correct details and the person you are looking is on Facebook this person should appear.Most of the time there is more than one person with the same name so you may get a few people showing up.If this is the case look at their pictures until you see the person you are looking for or you can look at their network which is under their name. If the network is ether the school,university or country they live in it is most probable them.
4.When you find the person you are looking for click on their picture or name.The facebook profile of the person you are trying to add will appear,on their profile click "add friend" which is on the right hand side of their profile.
5.The "add friend" button will change and say"Pending request"The person you added must now accepted your friend request,once this is done you will receive a notification on facebook informing you.

Some of the clothing was really nice and others stuff was something I would never wear unless I was being paid to EG:if I was working for FIFA.
These are the merchandise I personally would not buy,I find the logo to be a bit to big.
The price tag above was from a adidas Jacket which was actually very nice!
Some of the clothing was nice and will be nice memorable for all the soccer fans that are going to be coming down to South Africa.

How to setup Read Receipt in outlook.
How to configure read receipts for only one mail.
If you would like to add a read receipt to only one mail then you can do the following.
1.Create a new mail message like you would normally do.Before compiling the email click Options and then tick the un-ticked box in the tracking toolbar that says"Request a delivery receipt"
2.You can now compile your email and you will receive a read receipt for that email only.
How to configure read receipts for all your emails.
If you would like to add a read receipt for every email you send do the following:
1.In outlook go to Tools then options.
2.In the preference tab Under the heading email click on the "E-mail options"Button.
3.A new box will appear,now click the "tracking options" button.
4.In tracking options tick the box that says"Read receipt"and then click OK then OK again and finally apply.

I must warn you that this is more a story and actually doesn't have that much to do with technology,gadgets and the internet.
Facebook as brought so many normally people to the internet on a daily basis to talk,share photos and so much more.Facebook has really showed the none geeks what the internet is all about and how fun it can be.Unfortunately when people mix troubles start due to online clashes and other problems.
A few months ago a good friend of mine started dating a guy who according to her was just amazing.A few weeks latter a few of my friends went to this girls birthday party which was being hosted at her house.My mates and I had got there a bit to early,in fact we were the first to arrive so we sat out side talking.She was so exited about her new boy friend and how cool he is and we were happy for her but then he arrived.
As this new biy friend walked into the door my freind said"I know that guy"I asked him where from and he said he had seen him around at the local shopping centre and that he commented on a photo of me on facebook.My friend did not seem very happy about this so I proceed to ask him what this guy had said.According to my friend this boy friend latter identified as Dane said that my friend looked like a gay or something along those lines.When my friend confronted him over facebook Dane was suddenly all sorry and apologies saying he didn't know it was him.
I didn't think much of this whole situation and Dane seemed like a nice guy however a few days latter I found out otherwise!I logged into facebook only to find that Dane had accessed all my pictures,status updates and comments vie my friends profile!That's right this Dane fellow went onto my friends facebook account and went through all my personal pictures,comments,status updates and just spammed everything!
Dane had gone through all my stuff commenting childish remarks and ridiculing pictures with myself in them.I was shocked,I don't want random"freaks"going through my information and doing what they please.I immediately deleted my friend off my account and SMSed her explaining why I had done so,She couldn't understand what was wrong with him going through my stuff on her account.
In other words,if you think you safe from these ignorant fools you wrong.There is always going to be a friend who will leave their facebook on or who will let their friends and family use the account and then things will go horrible wrong.
Even when you comment on a photo you are allowing others to see that and start up a argument,I call this the "I was first like" effect because when this happens to me I do the following,I type "I was first like 0_o and then I was like :D" and then never comment again...this turns the person trying to argue into a potato,he or she doesn't know what to say and when she or he does its to late!yes soon it will stop working and I wont be able not to comment but hey for now I was first like 0_o and then I was like :D.
I just felt like sharing this story with you.Its nothing big but it could become a big problem if something isn't done!

To send free SMSs to any South African phone do the following.
1.Go to blueworld.co.za by clicking here.
2.register on blueworld by entering all the details it asks you to.
3.once registered login to blueworld and then go to the group page or click here to go to the group page.Once on the group page follow at least 2 groups!You need to follow at least 2 groups to be able to send free text messages.
4.Now click here to go to a user list.Now invite some random people.I would recommend randomly inviting 15 people from this list.The reason you need to add people is because you need to have at least 1 friend to be able to send free SMSs from blueworld.
5.Wait a day or 2 until some one has accepted your friend request.
6.click here and login to blueworld.
7.Enter the phone number and message then click send SMS.
You have successfully set up and sent a free SMS from your PC.You can send as many SMSs as you want for free thanks to blueworld!
How to get your facebook Events onto google calander.
You might be thinking"why would I want to do this?" well there are multiple reasons,one being that if you a user of Google calendar you want to know exactly when somthing is and not have to move back and forth between google calendar and facebook to find out.You want everything in one place so that you can organise and collaborate your schedule with others.
There are a couple of things you will need to do this,these things are as follows:
A facebook account.
A Google account.
1.Log into facebook,Once you are logged in click on Settings > Applications Settings.
2.A list of applications will show up,find the "events"application and click on it.
3.A list of all your events will show up.Now click on"export events" which is on the top of the page next to the explore events link.if you cant find it look directly under the profile button ;)
4.A box will appear that looks like the following:
Copy the link which is in that box and then go to your google calendar.
5.in Google calendar under the"other calander"box click add then add by URL.
6.A white box will appear which looks like a search box.In this box you must past the link you got from facebook.It will look something like this:
Click add.

How stable is facebook?Popular social networking site facebook hardly ever goes down?
Tonight I was told by a mate to check out facebook but to my shock I got the following screen error" Sorry, an error has occurred.We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.".This got me thinking,I often go on twitter and the sites down for maintenance in fact I have even been blocked out of my online email which is hosted vie Google(Gmail email) but I have never been shut out of facebook before.
In my opinion this is an amazing thing,facebook is growing at amazing speeds and has never gone down for me!
If you don't think facebook is growing why don't you carry on reading:
1.According to facebook they have More than 200 million active users.This is not your Mother who created an account and never logged in again!This is users who are very"active" on the social networking site.
2.More than 100 million users log on to Facebook at least once each day
3.Average user has 120 friends on the site
4.More than 5 billion minutes are spent on Facebook each day (worldwide)
5.More than 30 million users update their statuses at least once each day
6.More than 8 million users become fans of Pages each day
7.More than 900 million photos uploaded to the site each month

11.More than 35 million active user groups exist on the site
These stats are mind blowing!I must admit I have given facebook a lot of bad publicity but they have done a awesome job so far and hopefully they will keep it up.

I feel like a kid again,every night I get into bed and put my ipod ear phone where they belong and press play and to be honest I have really enjoyed it so far!
I have listened to all the Twilight books,barrack Obamas books and a few others and I am not going to stop any time soon.The problem is that there are not that many audio books out yet but that's to companies like audible that's changing!
If you decided to put your paper back down for once and listen to a book instead the best place to get it one is with out a doubt audible.com.Audible has the biggest most comprehensive collection of audio on the internet and algthough it might seem a bit pricey its all worth it!
You can now listen to a book in the car while you driving to work or hiking in the berg,in fact you can listen to books any where and that's why I love Audio books.

The best free anti virus software is free!Why pay when its free?
This year was the first year I dumped Norton and moved over to a free anti virus...yes that's right I downloaded AVG free edition for all my boxes and I can honestly say I am very impressed.
I could never understand why people would use a free anti virus but due to the economic conditions I decided I had to do it to try save money and I will never go back to Norton.AVG free does every thing my paid for anti virus but it doesn't dry up my wallet!
If you want to get a free anti virus I highly recommend AVG free edition which can be downloaded from their site at http://free.avg.com/
If you don't want to go for a free version of anti virus then I recommend nod32!I bought a single copy for my server and I things it out beats all the anti virus software by far but again if it was free I would use it on every system.

How to set-up and use twitter on your desktop-Send and receive tweets from your desktop.
In the guide we are going to show you how to how to install a twitter client called tweetdeck.
1.Firstly you will have to download adobe AIR if you do not already have it! To download adobe AIR click here. Once you have downloaded and installed adobe AIR you can go to the next step.
2.Download tweetdeck by clicking here and then clicking the "download now" button.A window will open up on your browser which will indicate that is is installing.When it asks you if you would like to open or save the file click open.
3.A box will appear again! click the"install"button and then click"continue"
4.Now enter your twitter user name and password and click remember me.
5.once you logged in you have successfully set up your twitter client!

5.If you want to change your font colours all you have to do is click on the "Change design colours" tab and then change the stuff there.I do not want to change the colours so I am now finished changing my background and adding a theme.

How to resize pictures-How to make photos smaller to Upload to the internet

Welcome to the on-his-mind Guide on how to resize pictures to make them smaller.Often you may want to make a picture smaller in size so you can upload pictures to the internet faster and save on bandwidth.Often uploading a picture which is 2meg takes long and when uploading a whole album it takes ages!To save both bandwidth and time you can resize your pictures so that when uploading them to facebook and other sites it wont take long and viewing the pictures online will be much quicker.
How to resize pictures
1.Download a tool called Image Resizer Powertoy by clicking here. this file is only 0.5mb and wont take long to download.If the link above does not work please look at the bottom of this article on other places to download it.
2.Once you have downloaded the tool double click on it.A instillation will appear,follow the on screen instructions and once the tool is successfully installed go to step 3.
3.Find the picture you would like to resize and right click on it.A box will appear,In this box click"resize pictures"
4.A new window will appear that will say"You can create resized copies of one or more selected pictures and store them in the current folder."select what size you would like the picture to be.If you are unsure of which size you should use I recommend using medium. You can also manually select the size by clicking on the "advanced" button and a custom size will appear bellow"handheld PC"
5.Once you have chosen your size click ok and you will notice a new picture will appeared in the same folder the picture you wanted to resize was in.The resized picture will say Medium if you did the medium resize and so on and so forth.
6.You have now successfully resized a picture! You can resize multiple pictures at once by simply selecting all the pictures you want to resize and then doing exactly the same steps mentioned above.
Here is an example of how much smaller the picture becomes after using this tool.
On the left is the picture that has not been resized and on the right the one that has!

How important it is to make back-ups as soon as you finished your work!
Yesterday I had finally finished a awesome video I had made to promote the city of Johannesburg here in south Africa! After I had completed it I decided I should play some counter strike:source and have some fun and wile I was playing my PC froze.
I tried everything but nothing would work so I resorted to restart my computer only to find that I got the blue screen of DEATH!I got angry and shouted and screamed but got over it in about 0.25 split seconds and got into recovery mode.I slid all my hard drives out of my box and got all 3 of my external hard drive enclosures out of my cupboard to back up all the important data on my HDD.
As mentioned above I found all 3 of my hard drive enclosure but I couldn't find cables..I couldn't find both a power cable nor could I find my beloved USB cable I needed.This made me have to go into my garage and dig through hundreds of thousand cables to finally dig up about 20 different ones that would maybe fit into a enclosure I owned.
After I had finally found the correct cables and all the accessories I needed I plugged in My hard drive into my laptop and was happy to find al my files there(Or so I thought) I ran around the house and jumped up and down and then went back into backup mode.....
I only had to backup 40GB of data(because the HDD was partitioned) but found that all my documents in the documents and settings folder were gone :( I had lost all my important data that I had just worked on.
If I had taken my own advise and used all these services I have mentioned on this blog yesterday I would have been a happy man but I am not so happy today!
BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA WHEN EVER YOU CAN!
